15-DAY UGANDA AND RWANDA PRIMATE &WILDLIFE SAFARI
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will meet your knowledgeable guide from Majestic Africa Exploration. You'll be transferred to your hotel, a quick 15-minute journey.
Full-Day Experience on the Nile
Originating in Uganda, the Nile River stretches over 6,600 kilometers (4,100 miles) before reaching the Mediterranean Sea. For millennia, it has irrigated the surrounding land, transforming it into fertile agricultural areas. Today, the river remains vital for irrigation and serves as a key transportation and trade route. Do water Rafting and later relaxation at the lodge | overnight stay.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer from Jinja with your driver-guide, making a 5-hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for about an hour to track rhinos. Afterward, enter the national park and visit the Top of the Falls. In the evening, embark on a game drive in the southern park before checking in for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with an early morning game drive around 6:30 AM, followed by a 3-hour exploration of the savannah. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Nile, known as the longest river in the world, heading to the base of the falls.
In the morning, take breakfast and drive from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park via the stunning landscapes. Your guide will decide where to have hot lunch along the way and proceed you to your lodge, passing through Uganda’s beautiful green landscapes. Enjoy an evening community and Bigodi swamp walk.
After breakfast, transfer for about 30 minutes to the starting point for a briefing before heading into the forest with a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger for your chimpanzee experience. You’ll track chimpanzees and other monkey species in this primate capital. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch, relax, and later drive to Queen Elizabeth national park |optional evening game drive.
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a morning game drive, the best time to spot cats and grazing wildlife. Visit Lake Kasenyi, then return to Lodge for lunch. Get ready for another boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George, where you’ll see sunbathing animals and Nile crocodiles. Have a short evening game drive and return to the lodge for relaxation.
Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Ishasha for a morning game drive to see the tree climbing lions, have lunch, a short evening drive and a relaxation sundowner as well as an overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer from Ishasha to Bwindi Forest, enjoying a scenic picnic lunch on the way. Arrive in the late afternoon and relax at your lodge as well as preparing for the majestic gorilla tracking experience.
Following an early breakfast and packing your lunch, your guide will take you to the Park Headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking protocols. You’ll be assigned a gorilla family to track, which can take between 30 minutes to 7 hours. Once you locate the gorillas, you can spend an hour observing them. Return to the park headquarters for your certificates before heading back to the lodge.
Wake up early for a transfer to the starting point for golden monkey tracking in the forest, which lasts about 4 hours. Return for lunch, then transfer to Kisoro, crossing the Cyanika border and completing immigration procedures before continuing to Volcanoes National Park.
Another day dedicated to gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park. The experience is similar to that in Bwindi, but the terrain is different; in Rwanda, gorillas inhabit bamboo forests compared to the jungle in Uganda.
Enjoy breakfast before hiking to Dian Fossey’s grave to pay tribute to the renowned American primatologist and conservationist, who studied mountain gorillas from 1966 until her death in 1985. This trek will take about 4 hours. Have lunch in the afternoon.
On this day, you will have a relaxed morning at the lodge, later drive to lake Kivu via Bicowa for a cultural experience of cattle keeping and later proceed to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. have a relaxation boat cruise on lake kivu and later return to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Finally, This marks the end of your trip and you'll be dropped off at Kigali International Airport to check in for your flight home.
